Green-Initiatives

We all are aware and facing effects global warming. We have also become of victims of air & water pollution, water shortage, unpredictable rains. Environmental degradation & depletion of natural resources have affected a lot on our physical & mental a health. To restore the situation we have decided to take a step to create a green environment.

Our efforts include

  • Planting trees in urban and rural areas to increase green cover and combat climate change.

  • Establishing eco-friendly villages with an emphasis on green practices.

  • Educating communities on the importance of afforestation in mitigating climate change.

  • Partnering with local governments and the industrial sector for scaled-up reforestation efforts.

  • Establishing Miyawaki technique based mini-forests in rural & urban areas to enhance greenery and environmental awareness in limited spaces.

To ensure a Green environment and sustainable development Ashirwad Growth foundation is actively involved in tree plantation and green village creation initiatives.

What we care for

Plant a Tree in name of your loved ones

When you plant a tree in the name of your loved one, that tree will bless them Similarly when you plant a tree in the memory of your loved ones, you will get blessings from them in the form of that tree.

we believe that the act of planting a tree goes beyond creating a greener world. It is a heartfelt gesture that allows us to cherish the memories of our loved ones while contributing to the preservation of our planet. Our unique initiative, “Planting Memories,” gives you the opportunity to dedicate a tree in the name of someone special, creating a lasting legacy that will flourish for generations to come.

 Aashirwad Vruksha Upakram 2025

Ashirvad Growth Foundation successfully conducted a green initiative under the Belheshwar Aashirwad Vruksha Upakram 2025, with 131 trees planted along with protective guards.
A heartfelt thank you to all the supporters, and well-wishers who joined hands for this impactful cause. Together, we’re creating a greener tomorrow.

Mini Forest:

The Miyawaki Method for creating forests is one of the most effective tree planting methods for creating forest cover quickly on degraded land. It is effective since it is based on natural reforestation principles, i.e. using trees, native to the area and replicating natural forest regeneration processes. The trees planted by this method grow much faster, helping the forest creation and capturing more carbon.

With the idea of forest regeneration Ashirvad Growth Foundation started this initiative of creating Mini forests using the Miyawaki method. On a barren land measuring 1000 sq ft we have planted 70-80 native trees at a distance of 3 ft, this helped the trees to grow in competition with one another.

The bio-diversity created in these mini forests has benefited the local eco system of insects and birds to create their own shelters. In the last two years as the green cover has increased, we have experienced a drop in temperature in this area, the water level in nearby well has gone up and also increased the pollination. Drip irrigation has been provided to ensure water supply.

Ashirvad Growth foundation ensures maintenance of the mini forests.

Mini Forests developed over the last few years by Ashirvad Growth Foundation

1.Sponsored by Sky Kitchen – August 2022 – 70 Native trees
2. Sponsored by Sathe family – October 2023 – 89 Native trees
3. Sponsored by Ketkar & Shindage family – Nov 2024 – 130 medicinal plants
 4. Nakshatra Van sponsored by Ketkar family – Oct 2025 – 61 trees

Medicinal Mini Forest

This mini forest has 130 medicinal trees and plants fruits, leaves, roots , bark etc of these trees in used in preparing Ayurvedic remedies to treat various ailments and diseases and have been used since ancient times

Medicinal plants are a valuable source of variety of chemical molecules that are linked to multitude of benificial properties
According to various sources medicinal plants are basis of 25 to 50% of currently produced drugs used in health care. Research in this field is expected to continue for new medicines derived from natural products

Nakshtra Van tree plantation

On 28th Oct 2025, we completed the Nakshtra Van tree plantation. Nakshtra means “that which does not decay.” Nakshtra Van is a perfect combination of Botany, Landscaping, Astrology, and Ayurveda based on Indian mythology. We have planted trees related to 9 planets, 12 Rashis (Birth signs), and 27 Nakshtras.

Every Nakshtra has its own tree or plant and each plant has its own bio-diversity that defines its connection with nature. It is believed that when we are in vicinity of such astral trees (related to our birth sign), we experience positive atmosphere, solace, medication, tranquility, mental peace, and relaxation.

Trees are planted in a circular pattern, with each of the trees positioned at specific angle.

The wide variety of trees helps to restore ecological balance and provides habitat for various species.
